We had a great Halloween! We went to our wards trunk or treat party. We ate yummy chili, rode an exciting hay ride, got tons of candy and hung out with friends. And got home before dark!!!

Here is Rhylan with her load of candy. She really like this idea.Gracin slept through the hay ride, I guess it was soothing.

Rocks

I am borrowing a friends midrange camera and today was my first day trying it out. So, of course I have a ton of pictures for us all to enjoy;)

Today we went on another walk and I just let Rhylan play. She was all over these rocks happy as could be!!

Rhylan LOVES our backyard

Rhylan goes out to the backyard everyday. She loves it and is happy to hang out by herself while I am in the kitchen and wave at her every now and then. She mostly draws with chalk but here are a few other things she does:

Our pumpkin!

Well we decided to go traditional this year. We made a... drum roll please...FACE! Yeah our pumpkin has class. I thought it would be a good idea for this year because Rhylan is actually interested in Halloween and all the decorations. This is the kind of paper pumpkins we have been making, it just made sense.

Here are a few out-takes from our night!

Gracin was really interested! He has been fussy today and he stopped crying when I sat him near the pumpkin.


Rhylan was a little more brave than last year (click here to remember that!) I can't believe how little she looks then.

She did put her hand inside the pumpkin, only because Riley put a candy bar in there. But at least she didn't go running from the kitchen. We are hoping Gracin will show her how it is done next year.

Hanging out together

Tiffany and I have a picture of us almost exactly like this! Gracin really loves to watch Rhylan play and Rhylan loves being around Gracin, so its a perfect match! In the first picture I was giving them a ride around the living room in a laundry basket. Rhylan is always so good to her brother. She will get him a toy or binky when he is sad. She always wants him to be awake so she can talk to him and show him all her toys, dance moves, and books!

3 Months old!!

Well Gracin is three months old tomorrow! Wow, he is no longer a newborn :( We sure love having this happy little guy in our home. Here are some things about Gracin:
1. Great sleeper-7-8 hours at a time at night
2. Always happy- we get more smiles from him than Rhylan
3. he is a Big boy 17 lbs, 94% for weight
4. Getting lots of light brown hair
5. Loves to talk
6. Starting to laugh
7. Rarely has an exploding diaper! I can only remember twice. (Rhylan had one about 5 times a week)
8. Spits up a lot
9. Loves to watch Rhylan
10. LOVES bath time most of all!

This is my favorite!!

I have been trying different photography tricks lately. One picture I have really wanted to get was a pic with catchlights in their eyes! I DID IT!! Man does it highlight those baby blues or what.
