Christmas Catch up

Well I have been trying to get caught up from all our Christmas fun. So here is a really LONG post telling the rest of the story! Warning look at your own risk (this is mostly for family.) Looking at this post may cause drowsiness.

The first snow ball...aimed at Uncle Mauricio (Ricio to Rhylan)

She got to try out some sledding once the weather was a little warmer.

Pulling "Ricio"

Our Christmas reindeer on the sled. You know you are in Arizona when, even the baby is wearing camo!
Rhylan pulled Gracin for a little bit. She is such a fun big sister.
Wee!
We didn't go down hills, we all just pulled Rhylan down the road.
My two cuties on the sled.

Rhylan loved the snow. Well she liked to be outside in it, not touch it.
Freezing in the snow!
Papa loves his big boy!
Nana had a talent show at her house with my cousins and aunts and uncle. Us four girls did a dance in our matching Christmas PJ's.

Here is the thermometer on Christmas morning!!

Rhylan and Papa playing flutes. Poor Papa caught a cold from Rhylan because they kept switching flutes/recorders.
Rhylan is very musical!! Here she is playing uncle Zak's drums.
Everyone but me at the dinner table (I was taking the pic) Nana is even in this one!

Rhylan: Mom I wanna hot dog.
Me: You can't have a hot dog, hot dogs are for lunch, silly goose.
Rhylan: Mom I want lunch.
(My best friend from high school (and college) took this picture of Rhylan over Christmas break. Isn't she talented! She took a ton more and is sending me a CD, I can't wait to see them.)

The fancy table

Our little hens, YUM!

This year our Christmas Eve was a little different. My mom wanted to have a Victorian style party. So we each made a costume and had a fancy dinner. During dinner we played a murder mystery game. We had so much fun.

Finally...Dress up time!

I have been waiting a long time for Rhylan to be really interested in dress-up. I spent most of my childhood in dress-up clothes. The time has finally come. I got/made her a bunch of dress-up for Christmas. So here is the blog fashion show. Some of these I put together and some she came up with all her own.

Zelda

Yesterday we finally got our kitty. We have been planning on getting a cat since before Gracin was born. We wanted to wait until after the holiday vacation. So we went to PetSmart and adopted this kitty. We were looking for a young/not baby kitten that is playful, not scared. We named her Zelda. She is 4 months old, and we love her.
