Zoo water

That day we went to the zoo, we stopped here first.  This is a little splash park inside the zoo.  I made the kids get all wet before we started our hot walk around the zoo that morning. To my surprise, it was Rhylan who was the child getting the most wet while Gracin stood back.  That is total opposite of what normally happens at water parks.  Gracin was happy to push the button and squirt anyone who crossed his path --see the evil laugh below!  And Hazel just walked around, sometimes getting went sometimes not.  She was just happy to be out of the stroller.

(And apparently I had accidentally had a filter on my camera when I shot these with my phone!!  I didn't realize I had selected it until we got home and I was looking through them.  Oh well it looks neat.)

I'm that mother!

This isn't as bad as it seems.  The kids were playing in the sprinkler right before bed time one night.  Hazel was playing in the sprinkler fully clothed a few min before this.  She had a poopy diaper and I went to change it.  I thought to myself: if I put on a clean diaper right now, the sprinkler will ruin it and I will have to change it again in 10 min when they go to bed... she did just go poop, she probably won't go again... one less outfit to wash and diaper to change... yeah I'm doing it. She didn't mind at all:)

Puddles

The monsoons have come!!!  One evening after a rather large down pour, we walked the neighborhood in search of some good puddles.  We found some at the park!  Perfect for jumping, kicking and splashing!

Funny faces

I taught Hazel a new trick!!  I say "smile!"  and she does this.
One night after bath, I was helping Rhylan get some tooth paste on her brush when she said "look mom I look like a pirate when I do this"  I had to take a picture of that face.  lovely.

My new favorite

Rhylan was in time out, crying. Hazel came right over and started hugging her. It's so sweet that a baby knows she can help and has compassion for her sister.  I just love this picture.

Trains

Gracin hadn't touched these in forever!  I was so happy when he played for a while with his trains.

4th of July

The morning of 4th of July we headed to the International Wildlife Museum.  It's a stuffed animal museum, like the Bean Museum in Provo, but way bigger!!  It was a great day to go, nobody else was there.  And it was HOT outside.  Here are a few pictures from our adventure.  This is a hippo skull!!
Hazel wasn't afraid of any of the animals!

Then we went out to eat and a new Greek restaurant--delish.  Then we had a relaxing afternoon at home.  after a festive dinner we headed to Benson for a laser show.  Here are some pictures of us waiting.  But right as the show was about to start a storm rolled in the the wind was crazy so they had to cancel.  We saw some fireworks going off at the base as we drove home.  Maybe next year we'll catch a better show.

Instagram unload

She thinks she's taking a nap in my bed.
Looking cool in her shades while watching sister shred it up at the skate park.
I can always count on Hazel to help clean up… or destroy.
My sweet little buddy.
Superhero day at Bookmans book club.
I handed her the bottle, she went all by herself, grabbed the pillow off Gracin's bed and got comfy.
Mini Mike Wazowski
Super Why.
This happened so fast. That is a clean baby straight from the bath, and that is peanut butter all over the floor.
Riley and I were able to go to the Mesa Temple one day.
Then on the way out from the temple, we passed my old roommate Anne. I hadn't seen her in six years. It was wonderful!

There was a week or so when Hazel was afraid of the big bathtub. This became our morning routine.
Hazel is a little gecko.
There she is again with the blanket on her head.
Morning dance party at the Williamson house.
Hazel sharing her frosting spoon with her brother.
Pretty much my favorite picture right now
There is no way she got this muddy all by herself.  I'm suspecting foul play.
Paint balling in the back yard, daddy is the best.
My two smarties made the sentences all by themselves. It's easy to tell who's is who's.
A beautiful desert sunset --no editing.
