Hazel loves cars 4/23/2013

Hazel loves to play with cars, she puts them on the floor and makes car sounds as she pushes them around.  This car plays music!!  In these pictures, she is dancing and laughing with the car!

Pima County fair 4/20/2013

 We laughed all night looking at this face!!! We also created many smiles on faces of people walking by.

 They loved going on rides, watching people bungee jump, eating hot dogs, petting animals, watching a dog show, and a monkey show!

 I couldn't get him to smile at me.  He must have thought he was actually driving this motorcycle and didn't want to take his eyes off the road.

 The petting zoo was great!

Frenchy 4/19/2013

We rid of Collint the lizard.  He was nocturnal, nobody paid any attention to him, and he wasn't a very cuddly pet.  We decided to get a guinea pig instead! See much more cuddly, more fun to play with, and fun to watch.  The first couple days the kids couldn't get enough of her.  We named her Frenchy.  (Fancy Nancy had a dog named Frenchy)  She is very sweet, loves to run around.  Gracin likes to read her stories and Rhylan likes to make tunnels for her to explore.

Hazel at 12 months

Hazel's 12 month update (as of March 29)

Hazel is such a sweet baby and loving.  She fits in so well with our family and we all love to be around her.
Height:  29 in 50%
Weight: 19.5 lb 25%

Sleep: Sleeps well and through the night... unless we aren't at home.  She likes to be awake and crying all night when we are on vacation.

Physical: Started taking steps but can't walk yet. has 8 teeth, still has dimple, bright blue eyes, blonde hair, Hair is still short and sticks up all the time. small tummy but chubby legs

Likes: Momma best, Rhylan, Gracin, Daddy, dancing, being funny, snuggling--she like to lay on a pile of clean laundry, Kitchen towels that she pulls down from oven, pillows, stuffed animals, Minnie, siblings, She likes to eat, she likes her bottle,  She like Papa Chris and Aunt Carly a lot.

Dislikes: swings, diapers changes, sharing.  She screams when ever she wants something, started to not want baby food. STRANGERS!!!

Toys: Minnie, cars, My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop,  She likes to play what ever Rhylan and Gracin are playing.

Nicknames: Bug, Baby Bug, Hazel Bug, Hazel Basil, Baby Hazel, "Hay-So"--Gracin can't say it correctly:)

Words: She only says Dada, momma, and bye-bye

Fairy house

Rhylan took some time to make a fairy house in our backyard!  I wonder if she is hoping for a desert fairy to find her special house.  Our backyard isn't the best place to explore and play (notice lack of vegetation and rock landscape.)  I'm glad she was enjoying it this day.

Popsicle

My kids love popsicles! Hazel is no exception, she stole mine.  We enjoyed a typical afternoon, eating popsicles on the patio and playing in the water table, rocks, and toys.

It was windy!! 

This face... When Hazel thinks she is funny she puts her hand on her face and fake laughs!!  It then makes us all laugh.  So she knows she's funny:)
