Well Rhylan is figuring out how to feed herself with a spoon. It is pretty exciting she is getting so independent... she is even trying to take care of us now (well Riley at least)

Cousins

Here is a picture of Rhylan and a cousin, well she is actually my first cousin but she is only months younger than Rhylan . Carly got to babysit the girls while we were in the temple with Tiffany and Mauricio while they were sealed a couple of weeks ago.

Just a little campout

One night while our family was in town we went out to a campground had a fire and roasted hotdogs.








Rhylan loved hanging around the fire and exploring the woods.

New Cutest Baby Picture

Here is the cutest baby in the world, you can't argue that look at this picture. Now I know her hair is a little funky, we were just trying out pigtails. But she does have stylish swoopy bangs!

This is one of those pictures you laugh at when you zoom in trying to figure out what is going on. Yeah Riley and I are still laughing at our drunk baby...I'm sure you are too.

1ST PONY TAIL!!!

RHYLAN HASN'T HAD VERY MUCH HAIR IN HER SHORT LIFE. BUT FINALLY I THOUGHT TODAY IT JUST MIGHT BE LONG ENOUGH, AND WA-LA AS YOU CAN SEE THERE IS A LITTLE BIT THAT WILL INDEED STAY IN A PONYTAIL...PEBBLES FLINTSTONE STYLE!

What a find

It is pretty funny when you find such a beautiful picture of your daughter on someone else's blog. I found this neat picture on my best friend Rachel's page and had to put it on my own.

RIVER RAFTING IN COLORADO

While in Colorado we tried river rafting. Riley and Mauricio had been before but the rest of us were first timers. We had a blast. The water was freezing, none of us fell in but as you can see in the last picture we were completely soaked. I am in the bright yellow helmet and Riley is right behind me, the rest of those crazy people in orange vests are my family, excluding my mom and Rhylan. The hippie guy is our guide. It was a little scary at times but I would do it again if I had the chance. Go for it be adventurous.

COLORADO

Well we just got back from a week long trip to Estes Park Colorado. We went with my family, Tiffany and Mauricio even came and we all partied together.


We went to a miniature horse show. This little guy was only 4 months old, Rhylan thought he was a puppy.
We were visited many nights by a band of raccoons that kept many of us up late. They were so cute though. There was 5 babies and a mean mama.We spent an afternoon bumping boats and cars, mini golfing, and speed racing.We tried to go swimming but most of the time it was too cold.Then we spent a day in Denver . We went to the Zoo and the downtown aquarium. The aquarium was by far Rhylan's favorite activity of the week. We let her loose and she could not spend enough time infront of the glass pointing at fish and sharks.
We think these piranhas were a little HUNGRY!!!!
Rhylan even touched the sting rays.... but her encounter was not the same as Riley's, he actually was bite by one while he tried to feed it.
OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One big bump

Well Rhylan had a big fall on vacation. She tripped and hit her head right on the corner of the counter. This sucker helped a little bit. It happened right at the begging of the trip. When we got home is was still pretty noticeable but not a bump... that lasted 1 day and she fell and hit the coffee table in the exact same spot so there is again a large bruise and bump on her forehead. OUCH!!!

Little garden girl

My mom has a whole garden for Rhylan to explore. I just followed her around one day taking pictures of her... this has become my main past time following and shooting.

I discovered something today...Rhylan can eat an Oreo all by herself.

The answer is NO she didn't end up squirting herself (or me). But she does know it sprays water she just hasn't figured out how yet.

getting ready

We left for Colorado a week and a half ago. We planned to stay for a week so it took us a while to pack. Meanwhile Rhylan found something else to do.
