The River Walk

The first night in San Antonio we went to down town and walked the River Walk. It was so fun to take pictures there! I have way too many. These are just from the day time. Everything was so pretty and unique.
Grammy C, Ella, and Jack.

Buddies! Jack is only 11 days older than Rhylan.
Its always nice to have a couple extra hands to keep Rhylan close:)

This is my only niece, Ella. She is so sweet and small.
Grammy C and all of her grand-kids. Rhylan, Gracin, Ella, and Jack.
I think this pic is so funny. Gracin and Ella are almost the same age. Actually Ella is 19 days older than Gracin. You would never tell by their size. Gracin looks like a monster compared to petite little Ella.
Rhylan and Jack haven't seen each other in 2 years. Back then, they were 18 months old and didn't really play together. This time it was a totally different story. They were best friends. The only time they ever argued was when it was way past bed time.

This is Nelson, Riley's brother and his wife Jackie (Jack and Ella's parents.) I also took their family pics, you can see them on my photo blog!

Rhylan posed herself for this pic. She wanted me to take her pic on this tiny bridge.

On the road

I'll be posting all week about our fun family vacation to Texas. We went to Dallas to spend Thanksgiving with Riley's family. Riley's brother and his family flew down from Alberta, we hadn't seen them in 2 years. We had a lot of fun catching up and seeing the sites of TX. We spent most of our time in San Antonio. We went to the River Walk, Sea World, and on an African Safari!! Gracin was really sick the whole time. He has been throwing up for 7 days now... yeah we are taking him to the Dr. when he wakes up from his nap. Then almost everyone else got sick too. By the time Thanksgiving dinner actually came around, hardly anybody could even eat it. Other than people being sick, we had a great time. Thanks again Gammy C, Papa and Markee for having us:)

On the drive to TX Rhylan was using markers and a coloring book... she looked like this when we arrived.
Sites of the road:

Yeah it was nice and warm!
In case you didn't know, TX is the only state that is allowed to put their state flag as high as the US flag!
Austin TX:
We saw another bill board before I could get my camera focused. It said: Miss me yet? and It had a pic of Pres Bush waving on it!! It was so funny.
Gracin like to relax in the car.

Before & After

I was trying out a few things yesterday. First I was playing with light outside and was trying to get some haze... well it turned out to be too much. So I used these pics for practice with some awesome new tricks I learned on Photoshop. In the end they turned out so cute!! Riley couldn't believe I put my kids up on some strangers tractor!! It has been in an empty lot for months now... you know, left behind by a construction crew. Enjoy:)

Fall tree

I helped Rhylan make this fun fall craft the other day. We used leaves as stamps. Then we looked out the window and Rhylan decided what colors to use by observing the leaves on our street. Gracin wanted in on the action too... I thought I would start simple. He put Toy Story stickers on a letter G for Gracin. Then he ate the glue stick.

Do you see those two teeth marks?
